Engineered Foundation Design
Steel Screw Pile Design
We undertake steel screw pile design for various contractors around Australia and New Zealand drawing on Stewart’s extensive experience which has seen him become one of the industry leaders in screw pile design and construction in Australia over the last 20 years. We can undertake independent design, static load testing and construction advice for all aspects of steel screw piles, pile caps and structural connections.
Screw piles can take compression load, tension load and lateral loads. We design piles and pile configurations in multiple groups to carry loads in all directions for structures such as houses, buildings, bridges, light poles, sign structures, inclined anchors, crane base footings and retaining systems such as temporary structures.
Bored Pile and Basement Design
As Geotechnical Engineers we undertake bored pile design for various contractors around Australia using both industry software such as L Pile and WALLAP and PIGLET and in house developed spreadsheets for optimisation of the foundation system. We undertake retention designs including Sheet piles, Bored pile contiguous walls and anchor designs. We undertake site inspections verifying the strength of the founding material prior to placement of concrete in the bored pile. Our experience ranges from 250mm diameter bored piles to 2.5m diameter piles for bridges. We can even undertake static load testing of bored piles using anchor tie downs if required to provide reaction force.
